Jefferson’s Ferry Honored with “Best in Class” Service Award in Skilled Nursing

The Vincent Bove Health Center at Jefferson’s Ferry was recently awarded the Pinnacle Quality Insight’s 2022 Customer Experience Award for the fourth year in a row. This award recognizes our dedication to providing “Best in Class” service in skilled nursing, scoring in the top 15% of skilled nursing facilities nationwide.

“This award exemplifies the outstanding work the employees at Jefferson’s Ferry do every day,” said President and CEO, Bob Caulfield. “This year’s award is significant as it reflects comments from Health Center residents and families over the past year during the continuation of the Coronavirus pandemic. This award is a testament to the extraordinary work performed by our health center team throughout the year.”

This award recognizes Jefferson’s Ferry service in nursing care, cleanliness, communication from the facility, response to problems, professional therapy services, admission process, overall customer experience, and most importantly, overall satisfaction by residents or family members. Vincent Bove Health Center residents and their families participated in monthly phone interviews and asked to rate their experiences. Based on these interviews, we gathered real-time survey results to gain a better understanding of residents’ needs and make improvements when necessary.

“Awards like this serve as recognition or a ‘scorecard’ of how we perform as an organization against our peers and provide us a sense of confidence that we are meeting or exceeding the best standards or practices within our industry,” Caulfield said. “I want to personally thank our employees for all of the outstanding work that they do and further extend my appreciation to our residents and their families for giving us this high vote of confidence.”
