President and CEO Bob Caulfield Appointed to LeadingAge New York Board of Directors

Setauket, NY…August 2, 2021…
Bob Caulfield, President and CEO of Jefferson’s Ferry, has been appointed to serve as a member of the LeadingAge New York Board of Directors. Caulfield will serve as Secretary to the Board through June 30, 2023.
LeadingAge New York represents not-for-profit, mission-driven and public continuing care providers, including Life Plan Communities, nursing homes, senior housing, adult care facilities, assisted living communities and community service providers.  LeadingAge New York’s more than 600 members employ 150,000 professionals serving more than 500,000 New Yorkers annually.

For more than 25 years Caulfield has worked in the senior living industry with a concentration in the management, development, financing and marketing of Life Plan Communities. Caulfield served as a consultant to Jefferson’s Ferry’s from 1999 to 2009, as COO/CFO from 2009 to 2014, and President/CEO for the past 7 years. Since 2018 Caulfield has spearheaded Jefferson’s Ferry’s strategic planning initiative and campus wide redevelopment project called “Journey Toward Renewal.”

Caulfield currently serves as a member of the LeadingAge New York CCRC Cabinet, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Accountants, the New York State Society of CPAs and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Caulfield has twice been recognized for his exceptional leadership by the Long Island Business News, Long Island’s business weekly. In 2014, Mr. Caulfield was recognized as Top CFO of the Year by the publication and in 2016 was honored as an Outstanding CEO.
