Jefferson’s Ferry Awards $2,000 Nursing Scholarship to Centereach HS Student | August 17, 2021

Setauket, NY…August 17, 2021…
Jefferson’s Ferry, a not-for-profit Life Plan Community, has awarded its $2,000 High School Scholarship for Nursing to Juliana Ramai of Centereach.  A graduate of Centereach High School, Ramai will be attending Suffolk County Community College’s nursing program this fall.

As a part of its commitment to provide the highest quality care to its residents, Jefferson’s Ferry also offers a second $2,000 scholarship to eligible Jefferson’s Ferry employees and their dependent children.

“Helping qualified students of all ages and experience further their education is very important to all of us at Jefferson’s Ferry,” said President and CEO Bob Caulfield. “These programs elevate the skills of our employees, help us retain and recruit highly trained health care workers, and overall support our residents and the larger community.”
